The Source

Sourced directly from the nutrient-rich soils of Asia, our Centella asiatica is extracted at peak potency. We prioritize sourcing from regions known for maintaining the integrity of the plant's active compounds: madecassoside, madecassic acid, asiaticoside, and asiatic acid.

Anti-inflammatory

Arnica Extract
Works synergistically with CICA-3-COMPLEX to reduce inflammation, minimize bruising, and accelerate the clearing of skin trauma.

Skin Barrier Builder

Sesame Oil & Hyaluronic Acid
It mimics the skin's natural lipid layer, locking-in moisture and softening the stratum corneum.

Skin Barrier Protector

Copper Gluconate
Acting as a biological shield, limiting bacterial proliferation (antimicrobial) while promoting skin density.

CLINICAL RESULTS & EFFICACY

Hydration & TEWL

We measured the hydration in the skin directly after applying the moisturizer, also the rate at which water evaporates from the skin (TEWL) over the next 24 hours. A lower TEWL score was observed, indicating a repaired, intact skin barrier.

  • Result 1: Immediate superficial hydration increased by 55.5% within 1 hour of application, with a lasting effect up to 24 hours.
  • Result 2: After 24 hours of application, TEWL decreased by 48%, indicating a fully restored protective barrier.

Skin Barrier Health

Using in vivo analysis of micro-abrasions, we tracked the speed of re-epithelialization (skin regrowth).

  • Result : Skin treated with our CICA complex healed 59% faster than untreated skin over a 14-day period.

Pore Size Reduction

Using Antera 3D® imaging, we analyzed the change in pore surface area and density after a 2-week treatment period. The CICA-3-COMPLEX works by tightening the perifollicular tissue, resulting in a visible reduction of pore visibility.

  • Result 1: A statistically significant reduction in pore density by 26.9%.
  • Result 2: The mean volume of visible pores decreased by 40.1%, creating a “blurred” or “filtered” effect on the skin surface.

Skin Texture Evenness

Beyond pore size, we measured the surface roughness of the stratum corneum. This metric evaluates the peaks and valleys of the skin's topography, which contribute to a dull or uneven appearance.

  • Result 1: Surface roughness decreased by 9.0% in just 14 days.

Wrinkle Depth & Anti-Aging

We quantified the depth of static and dynamic lines across five key zones: forehead, glabella, crow's feet, nasolabial folds, and neck.

  • Result 1: A measurable decrease in wrinkle depth ranging from 7.8% up to 18.8% depending on the facial zone.
